About Me...

My name is Patty and I am a stay-at-home Momma with 2 children, ages 25 and 23. Yes, 25 & 23. I do stay at home and I am their Momma. I am also living with MS, my reason for being home. I have a wonderful husband and babydog, Molly, for support. Kansan born & raised, transplanted to Alabama for 10 years & now in hubby's hometown in Illinois. I am definitely a vintage, DIY, face in the dirt (my balance sucks ok?), do-it-all-myself kinda girl, in my mind. However, power htools are out and even super glue can take me out! I do what I can as I can and wake up everyday thankful The Lord has given me another go at it! I love (in no particular order): vintage sewing machines & notions, Mason jars, vintage embroidery because Elizabeth Bennett did, daisies because Kathleen Kelly did, obviously romantic movies, an awesome upcycled/ repurpose, a heck of hack, and well the list goes on.. Oh..AND Buttons! Obsessively!! I have so many that the mere thought of sorting them gives me the palpitations! I started ONCE... Need I say more. I'm excited to be trying a hand at blogging. The women of the blog world amaze me and I want in on it, if only to be a closer witness to their greatness! Those Momma's that work, take care of lil' ones and then blog, including Pinterest, Facebook, ETSY STORES, etc., etc. I Pinterest period, well and wherever that may lead. So MS Sew Blessed am I!!!
